Man United transfers: Peter Schmeichel eyes Thomas Muller signing
Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel is dreaming of a move for Bayern Munich striker Thomas Muller
Peter Schmeichel has urged Manchester United to raid Bayern Munich again and sign Germany striker Thomas Muller.
The Red Devils snapped up World Cup winner Bastian Schweinsteiger in a reported £11m deal from the Bundesliga champions on Saturday afternoon.
However, Louis van Gaal is still seeking to bolster his attacking options ahead of Robin van Persie’s imminent departure to Fenerbahce.
And United legend Schmeichel urged former Bayern manager Van Gaal to make a move to sign Schweinsteiger’s team-mate Muller.

Muller scored 13 goals and made 10 assists in 32 Bundesliga appearances for the reigning champions last season.
The 25-year-old striker has already netted 121 times in 304 games in all competitions following his debut for Bayern in 2008.
United have already signed Netherlands international Memphis Depay, Scweinsteiger and Torino defender Matteo Darmiano in the summer transfer window.
Muller was part of Germany’s World Cup-winning side at the World Cup last summer.
