Man United transfers: Thomas Muller responds to Red Devils link

Thomas Muller confirms that Manchester United have expressed an interest in signing him this summer

Thomas Muller has confirmed that Manchester United have expressed an interest in signing him and admitted that he is flattered by the interest from the Premier League club.

The Germany international has been touted as a possible target for the Red Devils in recent weeks as Louis van Gaal looks to bolster his squad ahead of his second season in charge at Old Trafford.

Speculation in recent days has claimed that United have put together a big-money deal to try and tempt him to the Premier League.

However, despite admitting being flattered by the interest, Muller says he has no intention of leaving Bayern Munich in the near future.

Asked about a move to United, Muller is quoted as saying by Metro: “When a request comes, automatically you deal with it.

“And a request from a big club is an honour and a reward that one’s performance is good.

“But I feel well at Bayern, and my contract runs until 2019. I will not say any more about the speculations.”
