Mesut Ozil happy to see ‘quality’ team-mates sign new Arsenal deals
Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil is certainly thrilled to see Santi Cazorla and Theo Walcott extend their stay at Emirates Stadium
Mesut Ozil has taken to Twitter to congratulate Arsenal duo Santi Cazorla and Theo Walcott on their new contracts on Friday afternoon.
The England international put pen to paper on a new deal to end speculation linking the 26-year-old with a potential move to rivals Liverpool.
Cazorla, meanwhile, has extended his stay at the north London club after the Spain international moved to The Emirates from Malaga in 2012.
And Ozil, who is Arsenal’s club-record signing after his £42.5m move from Real Madrid two years ago, was pleased to keep to quality players in the Gunners squad.

Cazorla and Walcott both scored in Arsenal’s 4-0 victory over Aston Villa in the FA Cup final at Wembley in May.
The Three Lions forward is the longest-serving player in Arsenal’s squad following his move to north London from Southampton in 2006.
His Spanish team-mate Cazorla has scored 27 times during his three-year stay at Emirates Stadium.
