Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is looking forward to their clash against Chelsea in Community Shield
Aaron Ramsey is relishing the prospect of facing Chelsea at Wembley on Sunday as Arsenal look to retain the Community Shield.
The Gunners have a great record at the home of English football over the past two seasons after winning successive FA Cups as well as last year’s Community Shield.
Arsene Wenger’s men, who were 4-0 winners against Aston Villa in the FA Cup showpiece in May, face Premier League champions Chelsea in the curtain-raiser.
And Wales midfielder Ramsey, who scored Arsenal’s second in a 3-0 victory over Manchester City in the Community Shield last year, is eagerly-anticipating the opportunity to retain their crown.
Ramsey wrote: “Looking forward to going back to Wembley this weekend, was a good day last year #AFC #CommunityShield”
The 24-year-old midfielder has become a key part of Wenger’s side over the past couple of seasons.
Ramsey has scored 16 goals in 52 Premier League appearances for the north London side over the past two campaigns.
The Wales midfielder was named the club’s player of the season after he finished with an impressive 16 goals in just 34 games in all competitions.
