Arsenal defender Calum Chambers warns Chelsea that he is desperate to retain his Community Shield crown
Calum Chambers has warned Chelsea that he is determined to help Arsenal retain their Community Shield crown.
The Gunners are set to face the west London side in the season’s curtain-raiser at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.
Chambers won his first medal with the north Londoners in August 2014 just weeks after a £16m move to The Emirates from Southampton last summer.
And the England international, who also won the FA Cup in his first campaign at the club, took to Instagram to issue a rallying cry.
Chambers wrote on Instagram:
Wenger’s side won their own Emirates Cup tournament in north London last weekend.
The Gunners beat Ligue 1 side Olympique Lyonnais and Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg at The Emirates.
