Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina relaxes with his young family ahead of the Community Shield on Sunday
David Ospina spent some quality time with his family before the Arsenal goalkeeper gets ready to face Chelsea in the Community Shield at Wembley on Sunday.
The Colombia international is facing renewed competition for a starting spot after manager Arsene Wenger signed Petr Cech in an £11m deal from Premier League champions Chelsea earlier this month.
The summer signing started Arsenal’s 1-0 victory over Wolfsburg in Emirates Cup last weekend as the Gunners won their pre-season tournament in north London.
And Ospina looked relaxed despite the ongoing uncertainty surrounding his future as he spent time with his daughter and son.
Ospina wrote on his Instagram page: “Happy friday @jesysterling”
Ospina managed to dislodge Wojciech Szczesny as Wenger’s first-choice goalkeeper last January after the Poland international produced a horror display in a 2-0 loss to Southampton on New Year’s Day.
The South American moved to the FA Cup winners from Nice last summer.
