Serge Gnabry looked in good spirits as he enjoyed some downtime in the sun by playing football on the beach while on holiday.

The Arsenal starlet is enjoying his summer break before he bids to regain his fitness ahead of the 2015-16 Premier League season with the Gunners.

Gnabry endured a frustrating season last term and failed to make a single appearance for the Gunners after struggling with injury.

However, the 19-year-old looked in good shape on his holidays as he made the most of some time away from the training pitches.

Gnabry posted the picture above on his Instagram account and wrote: “Had fun playing some football on the beach today with these guys in Spain during my holidays #theloveofthegame #sportconnectspeople”

Gnabry’s last first-team appearance for Arsenal came during their Champions League clash with Bayern Munich back in March 2014.

He has made a total of 13 first-team appearances for the north London side since joining the club from VfB Stuttgart back in 2011.

The attacking midfielder has two caps for Germany’s Under-21 side and is yet to represent his country at senior level.
