Bastian Schweinsteiger took to social media on Monday evening to reflect on his “exciting” first week at Manchester United and admit that he is looking forward to the rest of the Red Devils’ pre-season tour.

The Germany international was given his first run-out in Manchester United shirt on Friday as Louis van Gaal’s men ran out 1-0 winners over Club America.

Schweinsteiger looks to be enjoying himself at his new club following his transfer to the club from Bayern Munich earlier this month.

And the World Cup winner used social media to express his delight with how things have gone since he moved to the Old Trafford club this summer.

Schweinsteiger posted the picture of him above in United training on his Instagram account and wrote: “Had an exciting first week with Manchester United. Looking forward to the upcoming games within the next days!”

Manchester United kick off their Premier League campaign with a home clash against Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford on the first weekend of the 2015-16 campaign.
