Thibaut Courtois and Cesar Azpilicueta are looking forward to the new Premier League season

Cesar Azpilicueta and Thibaut Courtois have both taken to social media to reveal their excitement ahead of the new Premier League season.

The new top-flight campaign officially kicks off on 8 August and Jose Mourinho’s Blues side are gearing up for their title defence after winning the league and League Cup double last term.

Azpilicueta is clearly relishing the prospect of the new campaign, with the defender posting the picture above on his Instagram account this weekend and writing: “28 days left to the @premierleague debut #cantwait #deseandoempezar 🏆 @chelseafc #28”

Courtois, meanwhile, looks to be just as excited about the start of the 2015-16 season, as the goalkeeper posted the following update on his Twitter account on Sunday morning.

Chelsea kick off their Premier League title defence with a home clash against Swansea City on 8 August, with Manchester United hosting Tottenham in the first game of the new season.

The Blues won the title ahead of Manchester City and Arsenal last season.
