Harry Kane admits that he cannot wait to kick off the new Premier League season with Tottenham Hotspur

Harry Kane has taken to social media to reveal his excitement ahead of the new season as the Tottenham star continues his pre-season preparations.

Kane joined up with his Spurs team-mates earlier this month after being granted an extended summer break following his involvement in the Under-21 European championships with England.

However, the striker is now back into the swing of things and has admitted that he can’t wait for the new Premier League season to begin.

Kane posted the picture above from a Tottenham training session on his Instagram account and wrote: “Training hard and feeling fit! Looking forward to the MLS game and the start of the season isn’t far away now. #Buzzing #THFC #COYS #HarryAppreciationDay”

The Spurs star has been unwinding in New York and The Bahamas in recent weeks as he made the most of his downtime following a breakthrough campaign for Spurs last term.

The England international enjoyed a sparkling season for Spurs under Mauricio Pochettino as he established himself as one of the Premier League’s top strikers.

Kane scored 29 goals in 41 appearances in all competitions for the League Cup runners-up last season after the striker forced his way into Pochettino’s first-team at White Hart Lane.
