Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata enjoys a break from pre-season training
Juan Mata enjoyed a well-earned break from pre-season training as the Manchester United relaxed in Seattle on Monday evening.
The Spain international is part of the Red Devils squad that has travelled to the United States for their pre-season tour.
Mata enjoyed a game of football tennis with the club’s new signings Bastian Schweinsteiger, Matteo Darmian and Memphis Depay yesterday.
But the 26-year-old was grateful to lounge in a chair after the session and recover his energy ahead of their first pre-season game later this week.

Van Gaal’s men face four matches during their US tour, starting with a game against Mexican outfit Club America on 17 July, MLS side San Jose Earthquakes four days later.
The 13-time Premier League winners will then take on European giants Barcelona on 25 July before the Red Devils complete their pre-season tour with a clash against Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain on 29 July.
