Alberto Moreno put his selfie stick straight to work ahead of Liverpool’s tour of Asia and Australia after the Liverpool defender took a snap with Joao Teixeira.

The Spain international is one of the more trigger happy social media users in Liverpool’s squad, rivalling the likes of full-back Jose Enrqiue and Reds forward Jordon Ibe.

So it is no surprise that Moreno made sure to pack a vital part of his social media equipment for their 12-day summer tour of Thailand, Australia and Malaysia.

And Portuguese youngster Teixeira, who spent last season on loan at Brighton before his leg break, was the willing volunteer who helped Moreno test out his selfie stick on Sunday.

Moreno wrote on his Instagram page: “Traveling to Thailand (Bangkok) with my friend cigano @joaovilaca8”

The former Sevilla defender appeared to be missing home already earlier on Sunday after he posted a snap of his girlfriend and beloved pet Ali.

Moreno posted: “I am going to miss you a lot and take care of yourselves!”

The Liverpool star scored two goals in 41 appearances in all competitions for Brendan Rodgers’ side last season.
