Mamadou Sakho debuted his hands-free phone invention as the Liverpool defender boarded the club’s flight to Thailand on Sunday afternoon.
The France international could be featuring on Dragon’s Den or perhaps rivalling Steve Jobs’s Apple iPhone after he was snapped putting his brainchild to use.
The best thing about the 25-year-old’s pioneering idea is that most Liverpool fans already have the necessary materials to build his invention.
The Reds defender wedged his iPhone between his Beats By Dre headpones and his ear, allowing Sakho to chat to his loved ones right up until the moment he boarded the flight.
Liverpool’s Instagram account found the snap particularly funny and posted the fans’s photo on their page.
Divock Origi, meanwhile, took the orthodox approach as the Belgium international stuck with his Apple earphones.
Liverpool face the True Thai Premier League All Stars in the first match of their pre-season tour on Tuesday.
