Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo all smiles with his daughter after he helped Argentina reach Copa America
Marcos Rojo was all smiles as he posed with his daughter for a snap after the Manchester United defender book Argentina’s place in the Copa America final.
The 24-year-old centre-half put La Albiceleste in front from Lionel Messi’s free-kick before goals from Javier Pastore, Sergio Aguero, Angel di Maria and Gonzalo Higuain sealed a 6-1 victory over Paraguay.
Argentina are bidding to win their first Copa America title since 1993 but Lionel Messi and co must beat hosts Chile to end their 22-year wait.
And United defender Rojo didn’t look fazed by the prospect of creating some Argentinian history as he posed with his two-year-old daughter Moreno.
Rojo’s mother Maria Carina Arellano wrote on her Instagram page: “All mine”
The Argentina defender endured an injury-hit first season at Old Trafford following his big-money move last summer.
The World Cup finalist has made 21 Premier League appearances for the Red Devils this term, racking up just over 1,700 top-flight minutes.
Rojo moved to United in a £16m deal from Sporting Lisbon after an impressive World Cup campaign in Brazil.
