Marouane Fellaini is happy to be back in pre-season training with Manchester United

Marouane Fellaini took to social media on Thursday afternoon to reveal his delight at being back in pre-season training with Manchester United.

Louis van Gaal’s squad returned to Carrington this week as the begun their preparations for the 2015-16 season.

The Dutchman’s squad have been put through their paces in recent days as they look to build up their fitness levels ahead of their pre-season tour to the United States next week.

And Fellaini was clearly thrilled to be back in action ahead of the new campaign, if his post on Instagram was anything to go by.

The Belgium midfielder shared the picture above on the photo-sharing app and wrote: “Second training session back – hard work !!! Excited for season ahead !”

Fellaini played a key role in helping Van Gaal’s side secure a top-four finish in the Dutchman’s first season in charge last term.

He scored six goals in 27 Premier League appearances for the Red Devils as the finished fourth in the table and booked their place in the Champions League.
