Robin van Persie showed no signs of paying any attention to the speculation surrounding his Manchester United future as the Dutch striker enjoyed a game of footvolley on a sunny beach.

The forward is currently enjoying some downtime after helping the Red Devils wrap up a fourth-placed finish in the Premier League during Louis van Gaal’s first season in charge at the club.

Van Persie’s future has been a source of speculation in recent days, amid claims that the Red Devils are preparing to cash in on the 31-year-old forward this summer.

However, the player himself does not look to be distracted by the reports, if his latest post on Instagram is anything to go by.

Van Persie shared the picture above on the photo-sharing app and wrote: “With the beach boys. #AmazingSkills #Footvolley”
