Phil Jones issues a Manchester United rallying cry ahead of their clash with PSG this week
Phil Jones took to social media on Tuesday afternoon to urge Manchester United to finish their pre-season tour on a high as they prepare for their clash with Paris Saint-Germain.
Louis van Gaal’s men have enjoyed a successful pre-season tour of the United States thus far, winning all of their games as they prepare for the Dutchman’s second campaign in charge at Old Trafford.
Jones is looking forward to lining up for the Red Devils in Chicago, where he made his Manchester United debut a number of years ago.
The defender posted the photo montage above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Looking forward to the game Wednesday in Chicago. Last time I was there I made my debut, Something I’ll never forget! @manchesterunited #MUtour”
The 23-year-old defender made 22 Premier League appearances for the Red Devils last term.
Manchester United, who finished fourth in Van Gaal’s first season in charge at Old Trafford, kick off their Premier League campaign with a home clash against Tottenham Hotspur on the opening weekend of the season.
