Radamel Falcao was proud to make his official Chelsea debut this weekend since his loan move from Monaco
Radamel Falcao described making his Chelsea debut as a “great feeling” after featuring in the Blues’ pre-season clash against Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday.
The Colombia international was given his first run-out in a Chelsea shirt as Jose Mourinho’s men beat PSG on penalties after a 1-1 draw.
And the striker, who joined Chelsea on loan from Monaco earlier this summer after his spell at Manchester United last season, was delighted to make his first appearance for the west London club.
Falcao shared the photo above on his Instagram account and wrote: “Great feeling in my first match with the team that did a great job. Go @chelseafc”
The striker memorably scored a hat-trick against Chelsea in a 4-1 victory over the then-Champions League holders in the Uefa Super Cup in Monaco back in 2012.
Falcao scored 52 times in 68 La Liga games before his move to Monaco in 2013. He only managed to score four goals in the Premier League for Manchester United last season.
