Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is ready to help the Blues defend their Premier League title crown
Thibaut Courtois has warned Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United that Chelsea are getting into their best form ahead of the defence of their Premier League title.
The Blues flew out to Canada earlier this week for their pre-season tour ahead of the Community Shield at Wembley on 2 August.
Chelsea were comfortable winners of the Premier League title last summer after Jose Mourinho’s side finished eight points ahead of Manuel Pellegrini’s side.
And Courtois, who is facing fresh competition for a starting place from new signing Asmir Begovic, is ready for the defence of their Premier League crown.
Courtois wrote on his Instagram page: “Goodnight from Canada! Hard work on the second day. Getting into our best form to defend our title this season ! #CFC”
The Belgium international enjoyed an impressive first season in the Premier League after the shot stopper returned from a three-year loan spell at Atletico Madrid.
Courtois managed to usurp Petr Cech as Chelsea’s number one goalkeeper, and the Czech Republic international completed an £11m move to Arsenal this summer.
