Wayne Rooney has taken to social media to urge Manchester United to victory as they prepare to take on Paris Saint-Germain in their final pre-season friendly on Thursday.
The Red Devils continued their impressive form during their pre-season tour of North America over the weekend with a 3-1 victory over Champions League holders Barcelona.
Louis van Gaal’s men are now gearing up for the final game of their tour against the Ligue 1 champions, and Rooney is looking forward to Thursday’s clash.
England captain Rooney shared the photo above on his Instagram account and wrote:
Rooney scored 12 goals and made five assists in 33 Premier League games for Manchester United last season as the Red Devils finished fourth in Van Gaal’s first season in charge at the club.
