Liverpool ease to a 4-0 win over True Thai Premier League All Stars in the first game of their pre-season tour
Divock Origi scored his first goal for Liverpool as the Reds eased to a comfortable 4-0 victory over True Thai Premier League All Stars at Bangkok on Tuesday afternoon.
The Reds edged into a first-half lead courtesy of goals from 21-year-old winger Lazar Markovic and France international Mamadou Sakho.
Summer signing Danny Ings had the ball in the net but his effort was disallowed for an infringement involving Sakho leading up to the England Under-21 international’s effort.
Former Southampton captain Adam Lallana added a third before Origi completed the rout in the Merseyside outfit’s opening game of their pre-season tour of Malaysia and Australia.
The Belgium international linked up with the Reds squad this summer after Liverpool agreed a £12m deal to sign the 20-year-old from Lille last summer.
Origi spent the 2014/15 campaign on loan at the Ligue 1 side.
The Reds take on Brisbane Roar in the Australian city on 17 July in their next game on their pre-season tour.
