Arsenal take part in a training session following their arrival in Singapore for their pre-season tour

Mesut Ozil looked to be in good spirits as Arsenal were put through their paces after arriving in Singapore to continue their pre-season preparations.

Arsene Wenger’s squad touched down in Singapore on Monday morning after jetting off to compete in the Barclays Asia Trophy.

The north London side were then quickly put through their paces in a training session as they look to raise their fitness levels ahead of the new campaign.

Ozil, who joined from Real Madrid in 2013, scored four goals and notched up five assists for the Gunners as Arsenal finished third in the Premier League table and qualified for the group stage of next season’s Champions League.

The World Cup winner, who joined Arsenal from Real Madrid in the summer of 2013, missed a large portion of last season due to a knee injury.

Arsenal kick off the new Premier League season with a home clash against West Ham United at Emirates Stadium on the opening weekend of the campaign.
