Jack Wilshere and Hector Bellerin are all smiles as Arsenal return to pre-season training this week

Jack Wilshere looked happy to be back with a ball at his feet after the midfielder returned to Arsenal pre-season training on Tuesday.

The England international has been enjoying some downtime after helping Arsenal secure FA Cup glory and finish third in the Premier League last season.

Wilshere had been enjoying his summer holidays with his new girlfriend last week as he made the most of some downtime.

However, the midfielder looked sharp as the Gunners kicked off their preparations for the new season at their London Colney training ground this week.

Wilshere scored two goals and made one assist in 14 Premier League games for the Gunners this season.

He is reported to be a summer transfer target for Manchester City, however Arsenal are reported to be ready to offer the midfielder a new contract to keep him at Emirates Stadium.

Also pictured in pre-season training on Tuesday morning were the likes of Hector Bellerin and Mathieu Flamini.
