Sakho, Henderson and more: Liverpool stars react to pre-season win

Mamadou Sakho and Jordan Henderson take to Twitter after Liverpool's 4-0 win against Thai All Stars

Jordan Henderson and Mamadou Sakho thanked the amazing Thailand supporters after Liverpool may have eased to a comfortable win in their opening pre-season game of the summer.

France international Mamadou Sakho broke the deadlock before Lazar Markovic doubled the Merseyside outfit’s lead against the Thai All Stars in Bangkok on Tuesday morning.

Brendan Rodgers made wholesale changes at half-time, and Adam Lallana added a brilliant third goal before new Belgium signing Divock Origi sealed a comfortable win.

Former Paris Saint-Germain defender Sakho was particularly thrilled with his goal and the rousing support of the local fans.

Meanwhile, newly-appointed Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson also thanked the supporters who turned up in the Thailand city.

Liverpool youngster Jordon Rossiter was thrilled to make his comeback from injury to feature in the 4-0 win.

Finally, Brazil international Lucas Leiva thanked the city and the country for their friendly welcome ahead of Liverpool’s next stop in Brisbane.
