The Slender Blend? Review of Protein World’s Weight-Loss Collection

Our reviewer runs through the plus points of Protein World's Weight-Loss Collection and gives The Slender Blend a go

After my first month of sampling Protein World’s Weight-Loss Collection, I have to say I was quite pleasantly surprised.

In the past, I had tried a few different meal replacements but they weren’t really for me and I couldn’t bear the monotony of sticking to one bland flavour.

As a result, I was never able to stick to the meal replacements and would inevitably return to my own meals – some healthy, some not.

When I first tried Protein World’s Weight-Loss Collection (strawberry flavour), I immediately noticed that the taste of the product wasn’t as artificial and sugary as other brands that I’ve tasted in the past.

With The Slender Collection you get their Slender Blend protein powder, Fat Metaboliser capsules and Hunger Buster capsules. These can help you lose weight, boost metabolism, burn fat, and encourage lean and toned muscle growth.

The Slender Blend is one of their best-selling products, and it came as no surprise to me. The strawberry Slender Blend had a refreshing flavour and was pleasant to drink.

Initially, I was drinking two shakes a day for breakfast and dinner, with just light snacks like fruit and nuts in between and a protein-packed lunch.

I lost about around 2lbs in the first week and another 2lbs in the second week. It wasn’t quite as fast as some Protein World users that I’ve read about, but as we all know, everybody is different.

After a few weeks of using it, I returned to my normal meals as I didn’t want to lose any more weight, so I started to have the shake after gym sessions instead. I found it gave me a lot of energy, especially the Fat Metaboliser capsules.

Since I’ve been using Protein World, I’ve seen a significant increase in my energy levels throughout the day and overall I would say it is great if you want to lose weight.

I’ve tried the banana, strawberry and vanilla flavours, and all taste delicious and crucially not artificial, so you don’t get sick of the flavour. They aren’t overpowering and are jam-packed with protein and vitamins.

Even if you don’t want to lose weight, I’d recommend The Slender Blend as an after gym protein shake.

The Slender Collection featuring a 1.2kg tub of protein powder costs £62, while the version with a 2.5kg tub is £88.

The best-value Slender Blend protein powder is the 2.5kg bag for £58.

UK delivery is free on all orders more than £80.
