Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny scores a brilliant rabona goal during an open training session at The Emirates
Laurent Koscielny coasted through his audition for a centre-forward role this season after the Arsenal defender pulled off an impressive rabona goal during an open training session at The Emirates.
Gunners manager Arsene Wenger has been linked with a move for a striker in recent weeks amid reports that the north London side could sign Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema or Napoli forward Gonzalo Higuain.
Wenger already has France international Olivier Giroud in his squad and the manager signed Danny Welbeck in a surprise £16m deal from Manchester United last summer.
However, the Frenchman may have a hidden gem in his squad after Koscielny showcased his vast array of flicks and tricks before he netted an impressive rabona goal during training.
Koscielny made sure to highlight his effort to Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo as he posted the following status: “Can you do this @cristiano ;-)!”
The 29-year-old centre-half has scored 16 goals in 201 appearances in all competitions for the north Londoners during his five-year stay at Arsenal.
