Karim Benzema is available for a ransfer but Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger needs to go all in for the Real Madrid striker, according to Jan Aage Fjortoft.
The Gunners have been linked with a move for the France international throughout most of the summer transfer window, however, the north London side have yet to launch a substantial bid.
Benzema is believed to be surplus to requirements at The Bernabeu after Rafael Benitez succeeded Carlo Ancelotti at the 10-time European champions earlier this summer.
And former Nottingham Forest midfielder Fjortfoft claimed that Wenger’s has the power to force through a deal to sign the former Lyon man.

The former Lyon striker scored 15 goals in 29 La Liga appearances for Los Blancos last season.

The 27-year-old striker has won La Liga, the Champions League and three Copa del Rey titles during a six-year stay in the Spanish capital.
Arsenal were 2-1 winners against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday afternoon courtesy of goals from Olivier Giroud and a Damien Delaney own goal.
