Jeinny Lizarazo has been informed that Arsenal are pressing ahead with their reported bid to sign Karim Benzema

Karim Benzema was jetting into London to completed his reported transfer to Arsenal from Real Madrid on Sunday afternoon, according to Venezuelan model and football presenter Jeinny Lizarazo.

The north London side, who slumped to a surprise 2-0 loss to West Ham United in their opening Premier League game at Emirates Stadium on Sunday, have been heavily linked with a big-money bid for the France international in recent days.

Despite the speculation, manager Arsene Wenger has denied that the Gunners are in the market to sign the 27-year-old.

However, Lizarazo took to Twitter on Sunday morning to reveal that one of her sources had informed her that Arsenal seem to be pressing ahead with their reported plans to sign Benzema before the close of the transfer window.

She tweeted:

However, Lizarazo, who is a big Real Madrid supported, then later added that she personally doubted the report.
