Jamie Carragher and Gary Lineker take to Twitter after Everton seal a 3-0 victory over Southampton at St Mary's

Romelu Lukaku scored twice in the first half as Everton were comfortable 3-0 winners against Southampton at St Mary’s.

The Belgium international broke the deadlock with a powerful header before the 22-year-old striker tucked a finish past Maarten Stekelenburg just before half-time.

Southampton pressed for a goal after the interval as Jay Rodriguez made his first start at St Mary’s since a serious knee injury, but Ross Barkley wrapped up three points for the Toffees.
