Chelsea legend trolls Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger
Former Chelsea defender Mario Melchiot lands himself in hot water with Arsenal supporters on Twitter
Mario Melchiot aimed a cheeky dig at Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger on Twitter on Thursday night.
The former Chelsea defender took to the social media to react to the news that Parma have been forced to sell some of their silverware in a bid to save the Serie D club.
Parma have won three Coppa Italias (1992, 1999 and 2002), Cup Winners’ Cup (1993), European Super Cup (1994), UEFA Cups (1995, 1999) and the Italian Super Cup (1999).
And Melchiot suggested that Arsenal manager Wenger could loosen his purse strings and add some much-needed silverware to Emirates Stadium’s trophy cabinet.
