Daniel Sturridge reflects on Liverpool’s win against Bournemouth
Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge praises the Reds for registering another three points this season
Daniel Sturridge was thrilled to see Liverpool secure another three points in their bid to finish in the Premier League’s top four.
The Reds edged to a 1-0 victory over newly-promoted Bournemouth at Anfield on Monday night thanks to Christian Benteke’s 29th-minute winner.
Sturridge is still recovering from a hip operation after the England striker missed most of the 2014/15 season due to injury problems.
But the 25-year-old is taking encouragement from Liverpool’s good form ahead of the striker’s anticipated return to action in early September.

The England man endured a forgettable 2014/15 campaign after Sturridge was limited to just 12 Premier League appearances in an injury-hit season.
Sturridge scored 21 goals in 29 appearances as the England striker and Luis Suarez fired the Reds to within four points of Premier League glory.
