Eriksen, Vertonghen and more: Tottenham stars bid farewell to Spurs flop
Tottenham duo Christian Eriksen and Jan Vertonghen say goodbye to Villarreal signing Roberto Soldado
Jan Vertonghen was quick to wish Roberto Soldado all the best after the striker swapped Tottenham Hotspur for Villarreal on Friday afternoon.
The Spain international scored a disappointing seven goals in 52 Premier League appearances for Spurs after he moved to White Hart Lane in a £27.5m deal from Valencia in 2013.
And Spurs captain Vertonghen took to Twitter to send a message to the 30-year-old striker, who remains the north London side’s second most-expensive signing in their history.
All the best amigo!!! @R9Soldado
