A Kyle Walker own goal proved the difference at Old Trafford as Manchester United eased to a 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs made a strong start in Manchester but their good work was undone after England defender Walker put the ball past his Michel Vorm under pressure from Wayne Rooney.
