Memphis Depay heaps praise on Wayne Rooney and says he is learning a lot from the Manchester United captain
Memphis Depay has heaped praise on Wayne Rooney and admits that he is learning a lot from the Manchester United captain.
The Netherlands international has been getting to grips with English football following his summer transfer to Old Trafford from PSV Eindhoven earlier this summer.
Both Depay and Rooney played the full 90 minutes as United were held to a goalless draw by Newcastle at Old Trafford at the weekend.
And Depay says that he is already learning a lot from the England and United skipper as he adapts to life at the English club.
Depay is quoted as saying by ITV: “Wayne Rooney helps me a lot. He has a lot of experience.
“He already knows everything about the football world so if I have any questions I can ask him.”
