Man United transfers: Angel di Maria completes PSG move

Manchester United confirm Angel di Maria has left the Red Devils after agreeing a reported £45m move to PSG

Manchester United have confirmed that Angel di Maria has joined Paris Saint-Germain.

The Argentina international has been heavily linked with a move to the Ligue 1 side since the end of the Copa America last month.

Di Maria failed to link up with the Red Devils on their pre-season tour of United States, which prompted reports the midfielder was on the brink of big-money move to the French capital.

And United’s Twitter account announced that Di Maria has left the 20-time English champions just 12 months after he became English football’s most expensive signing.

Di Maria joined United in a British record £59.7m deal from 10-time European champions Real Madrid.

The 27-year-old, who has reportedly cost PSG in the region of £45m, scored just four goals in 32 appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils.

Di Maria did, however, make 10 assists in 27 Premier League games.
