Man United transfers: Louis van Gaal delivers Pedro Rodriguez update
Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal confirms that the club are interested in signing Pedro Rodriguez

Louis van Gaal has told Manchester United fans that they must “wait and see” whether the club are able to push through a deal to sign Pedro Rodriguez from Barcelona.
The Red Devils have been heavily linked with a big-money move to bring the Spain forward to the club in recent days as Van Gaal looks to add more firepower to his squad at Old Trafford.

The Premier League outfit are thought to be keen on luring the 28-year-old to Old Trafford before the close of the transfer window and are reported to be ready to pay the player’s £22m release clause.
United boss Van Gaal was quizzed about the Red Devils’ pursuit of the forward at his weekly news briefing on Thursday – and the Dutchman appeared to suggest that the ball was now in the player’s court.
Van Gaal told a news conference at Carrington on Thursday: “You have to ask Pedro, not me. My answer is it’s a process, it’s a club, it’s a player, and we are there also.
“I don’t mention anything until he has signed. When he has signed I come to you and say ‘hey, Pedro is here’. That is still not the case. We shall wait and see.”
