Man United transfers: Louis van Gaal urged to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Jan Aage Fjortoft says Zlatan Ibrahimovic would add something extra to the Manchester United side
Louis van Gaal should sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic to add something extra to the Manchester United squad, according to Jan Aage Fjortoft.
The Red Devils are looking toothless up front after a goalless draw with Newcastle United at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
United captain Wayne Rooney has failed to score in their opening three Premier League games of the season.
The 20-time English champions missed out on Pedro Rodriguez last week after the Spain international joined Chelsea in a £21.1m deal.
But former Sheffield United man Fjortoft reckons Ibrahimovic could be the solution to United’s goal-scoring woes.
I think Zlatan would be perfect for Man UTD. "Cantona-like-signing" and role.
Van Gaal knows he needs something "extra". Zlatan is extra

Ibrahimovic has hinted that he could leave Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window.
The Sweden international previously played under Van Gaal at Ajax, although the pair had a fractious relationship at the Eredivisie side.
