Olivier Giroud issues Arsenal rallying cry after West Ham defeat
Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud takes to Twitter to promise Gunners fans an improvement ahead of Crystal Palace clash
Olivier Giroud has promised Arsenal will dedicate themselves to improving in training this week after a shock 2-0 loss to West Ham United at The Emirates on Sunday.
The Gunners suffered a defeat in their first Premier League game of the season after Cheikhou Kouyate broke the deadlock in the 43rd minute before Mauro Zarate doubled the Hammers’s lead in the second half.
Arsenal already trail Manchester United by three points, whilst Arsene Wenger’s men were unable to capitalise on Chelsea’s 2-2 draw with Swansea City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.
And Giroud, who was unable to muster an attempt on target during the 2-0 loss, took to Twitter to rally his Arsenal team-mates ahead of their trip to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park next Sunday.
Victories don’t happen by chance. It’s training and teamwork. We train #NoMatterWhat
