Ander Hererra takes to social media to urge Manchester United to stay positive despite their loss to Swansea

Ander Herrera took to social media to urge his Manchester United team-mates to remain positive in the wake of their 2-1 loss to Swansea City on Sunday afternoon.

The Spaniard played 77 minutes of the Premier League clash at the Liberty Stadium but could not prevent Louis van Gaal’s men from slipping to their first top-flight defeat of the season in South Wales.

The defeat left United fifth in the table and level on points with Arsenal and Liverpool heading into the international break.

But Herrera was trying to stay positive on Sunday night, as he posted the picture above on Instagram and wrote: “We are very dissapointed because we have lost the game in 5 minutes. We will learn from it 🔴 #united @manchesterunited”

After a goalless first half, Juan Mata converted Luke Shaw’s cross to put the visitors ahead in the 48th minute.

However, Garry Monk’s side soon fought back, with Andre Ayew heading home in the 61st minute, before Bafetimbi Gomis slid in a cool finish to inflict United’s first defeat of the season.
