Photo: Arsenal goalkeeper David Opsina ‘training hard’ ahead of Palace trip
Arsenal number two David Opsina posts a photo from training as he looks to put pressure on Petr Cech
David Opsina says he is training hard as the Arsenal goalkeeper looks to impress Arsene Wenger ahead of their trip to Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon.
The Colombia international has fallen down the pecking order at The Emirates following Petr Cech’s £11m move to Arsenal from Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
However, the 33-year-old Czech Republic international endured a forgettable debut after he made two mistakes in a 2-0 defeat by West Ham United at Emirates Stadium.
And Ospina, who moved to Arsenal from Nice last summer, appears ready to seize his opportunity should Wenger call upon the South American.
He wrote on his Instagram account: “Training hard! @arsenal”
Ospina managed to usurp Wojciech Szczesny and establish himself as Arsenal’s first-choice goalkeeper in the second half of the season.

The Poland international has since moved to Serie A outfit Roma on a season-long loan following Cech’s controversial switch to the FA Cup winners from the Premier League champions.
