Aaron Ramsey may be on the campaign trail for New Balance at the moment, but his sponsor work has some benefits after a cheeky helicopter ride on Friday afternoon.

The Wales international made the trip north to Manchester for a New Balance event after training at Arsenal’s London Colney’s training ground earlier in the morning.

Ramsey impressed in Arsenal’s 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday afternoon as the Gunners recorded their first win of the Premier League season.

And the 24-year-old midfielder looked pretty delighted with himself as he snapped a selfie on his helicopter journey ahead of the visit of Liverpool at The Emirates on Monday.

Ramsey wrote: “Trip up to Manchester today to see @nbfootball, on the way home now in a helicopter 🚁”

Arsenal welcome top-four rivals Liverpool to The Emirates in Monday night football.

The Gunners have won their last two games against Brendan Rodgers’s side in north London.
