Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger gears up for the visit of Club Brugge on Tuesday night
Bastian Schweinsteiger urged his Manchester United to make it three successive wins to start their season ahead of the visit of Club Brugge on Tuesday.
The Red Devils start their Champions League campaign with a clash against the Belgian side at Old Trafford in the first leg of their play-off clash.
Schweinsteiger won the competition with Bayern in 2013 after a 2-1 victory over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final at Wembley in 2013.
And the United midfielder is eagerly anticipating his first European match as a Red Devils player following his switch to Old Trafford earlier this summer.
Schweinsteiger wrote on his Instagram page: “After two straight wins in the Premier League we want to lay the foundation of qualifying for the Champions League. Against Club Brugge we will give it our best at Old Trafford tomorrow. @manchesterunited”
The World Cup winner came on as a second-half substitute in United’s 1-0 victory over Aston Villa at Villa Park on Friday night.

Schweinsteiger moved to United in a £15m deal from Bayern after months of speculation linking the midfielder with a move to Old Trafford.
