Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea gears up for the visit of Club Brugge along with his team-mates
David De Gea trained with his Manchester United team-mates despite the uncertainty surrounding his future ahead of their Champions League opener on Monday.
The Spain international has been heavily linked with a move to La Liga giants Real Madrid throughout the summer transfer window.
Van Gaal omitted De Gea from his match-day squads for United’s 1-0 victories over Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa in the Premier League.
The 24-year-old shot stopper was named the fans’s and players’s player of the year after his eye-catching performances for the Red Devils last season.
And De Gea trained with Matteo Darmian as United geared up for their clash against Club Brugge in the first leg of their Champions League play-off on Tuesday.
Argentina international Sergio Romero, who moved to United earlier this summer, started United’s opening games of the Premier League season.
Meanwhile, Anders Lindegaard was also photographed in training as the Danish shot stopper looked to impress manager Van Gaal.
