Arsenal youngster Hector Bellerin reflects on their 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon
Hector Bellerin praised Arsenal’s “fight and spirit” after a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday afternoon.
The north London side made the breakthrough in the first half after Mesut Ozil teed up Gunners striker Olivier Giroud to finish past Alex McCarthy.
Palace defender Joel Ward equalised before half-time, but Damien Delaney deflected Alexis Sanchez’s header past his own goalkeeper to hand victory to Arsenal.
And Arsenal full-back Bellerin, who was recalled to the side at the expense of Mathieu Debuchy, took to Twitter celebrate their first Premier League win of the season.

Bellerin capped an impressive run of form in the Gunners side with his first Premier League goal against Aston Villa in February before he netted against Liverpool in a 4-1 win at The Emirates in April.
The Gunners youngster scored two goals in 28 appearances in all competitions for the north London side.
The Spain Under-21 international joined Arsenal from La Liga giants Barcelona in 2011.
