Karim Benzema appears set to stay at Real Madrid this summer...

Karim Benzema has delivered another blow to Arsenal’s hopes of signing the striker this summer, by indicating that he is planning to stay at Real Madrid via a post on Instagram.

The 27-year-old forward continues to be linked with a transfer to the north London club, despite Arsene Wenger’s insistence on Sunday that the Gunners have not made a bid for the forward.

Benzema has been touted as a target for the north London club as Wenger looks to add some more firepower to his squad ahead of the new Premier League season.

However, the player himself appears to have indicated that he plans to start next season with the Spanish club, as he posted a picture of himself in training with a positive message.

Benzema shared the photo above on Instagram and wrote: “We will come back stronger.”
