Liverpool striker Christian Benteke is looking forward to their next home game against West Ham United on Saturday

Christian Benteke says he is looking forward to the visit of West Ham United as the Liverpool striker looks to continue his goal-scoring run at Anfield.

The Belgium international scored on his first appearance in front of The Kop as a Liverpool player to secure a 1-0 win against Bournemouth last week.

Benteke became Liverpool’s second most-expensive signing of all-time after he moved to the Merseyside outfit in a £32.5m deal from Aston Villa this summer.

And the 24-year-old is eagerly-anticipating the visit of West Ham as Benteke looks to score his second goal for the 18-time English champions on Saturday.

Liverpool have collected seven points from their opening three Premier League games after 1-0 victories over Stoke City and Bournemouth followed by a goalless draw with Arsenal on Monday night.
