Manchester United star Daley Blind marks one million Instagram followers with a special post on the photo-sharing app
Daley Blind has thanked Manchester United fans for all their support after the defender reached one million followers on Instagram last night.
The Red Devils midfielder has made a promising start to the Premier League season despite being played in an unorthodox centre-half role alongside Chris Smalling.
United are yet to concede a goal in the Premier League this season after back-to-back 1-0 victories over Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa.
And Blind capped a good start to the season on the pitch with a special milestone on photo-sharing app Instagram.
Blind wrote: “1Million followers!! Thanks for your support, I want to give something back! Tag someone you want to go with to Manchester United, and get a chance to win tickets for a game at the Theatre of Dreams! 🔴 #MUFC”
The Netherlands has scored two goals in 27 Premier League appearances for the Red Devils since his £16m move to Old Trafford from Ajax last summer.

Blind, who has also netted twice in 27 games for the Dutch national team, was used largely in a midfield role by United boss Louis van Gaal last season.
The Red Devils face Newcastle United at Old Trafford on Saturday.
