Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo reflects on his first year at Old Trafford
Marcos Rojo may not have returned to action since his role in Argentina’s Copa America campaign, but the centre half is raring to go and loving life at Old Trafford.
Louis van Gaal is thought to have the 2014 World Cup runner up at his disposal once again, and it remains to be seen whether Rojo or the impressive Daley Blind will get the nod in Saaturday’s starting lineup.
Epitomising the passion and dedication fans yearn to see from their team’s players, Rojo posted on Instagram to mark 12 months since his arrival in Manchester.
Rojo wrote on the photo-sharing app: “A year has already passed but it feels like yesterday I fulfilled a dream when I joined this great club! To play in Old Trafford gets even more emotional with every match. This is truly a theatre of dreams!”
The 25-year-old made 25 appearances in all competitions during his debut Premier League campaign, and it hoping to rack up many more should he be given a prolonged run at the heart of United’s defence.
