Marcos Rojo takes to Instagram to urge his Manchester United team-mates to stay positive despite defeat
Marcos Rojo may still be waiting to make his first appearance for Manchester United this season, but the Argentina defender is still very much involved in the ups and downs at the Old Trafford club.
The defender was not included in United’s matchday squad as Louis van Gaal’s men slumped to a surprise 2-1 defeat by Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
However, the centre-half was quick to take to social media to urge his team-mates to keep their heads high despite the disappointment of the loss.
Rojo posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account on Sunday evening and wrote: “Let’s go Guys! Together we will return to the victories in the next match! #MUFC #RojoIsRed”

After a goalless first half in South Wales, Juan Mata converted Luke Shaw’s cross to put the visitors ahead in the 48th minute.
However, Garry Monk’s side soon fought back, with Andre Ayew heading home in the 61st minute, before Bafetimbi Gomis slid in a cool finish to inflict United’s first Premier League defeat of the season.
Sunday’s loss left United fifth in the Premier League table.
