Memphis Depay took to social media to reveal his delight at making his Manchester United home debut on Saturday against Tottenham.

The Netherlands winger played 68 minutes at Old Trafford as Louis van Gaal’s men secured a 1-0 win over Spurs thanks to Kyle Walker’s first-half own goal.

Depay was clearly thrilled to get his first taste of Premier League action with the Red Devils as United got their campaign off to a winning start.

The 21-year-old posted the picture above of himself celebrating United’s goal with Wayne Rooney on his Instagram account on Saturday evening.

Depay, who joined United from PSV Eindhoven this summer, posted the picture and wrote: “Felt so good to make my debut at Old Trafford, amazing. Great start lads. #GGMU”
